One night before bed I happened to see my dear MawMaws old radio tucked away in our bedroom closet. This was handed down to me when she passed away. I was raised in the deep south & all of a sudden a flood of nostalgic memories came roaring back of those wonderful Mississippi summers spent with my grandparents. A verse melody dropped on me out of nowhere and I stayed up to write the rough draft. Jared really liked the idea and helped finish writing the complete song the next day. He wanted me to sing this one at first because it was so personal but this song needed his voice to make the song the best it could be.
