First off, I love movies. I love books too, but the effortless visual I get from a good movie takes me to another place. I wanted to write a short film in a sense. So when I recorded the melody for this one I unknowingly set myself up for a story about a man who dies leaving a wife and small child behind. The song is his narrative at his own wake, and regret of irreversible change.
